Founder & CEO, Flowetik and Coalition Strategic Consultant
Zamawa is the Founder and CEO of Flowetik, a marketing consultancy for nonprofits and social enterprises. The firm partners with clients advancing equity and driving change in health care, education, and economic development. Since 2018, she has served as a strategic consultant for the Massachusetts Coalition for Serious Illness Care supporting the Coalition’s consumer research and strategic planning initiatives.
Over her 25+ year career, Zamawa has led communication and research programs that benefit people’s lives and have a systemic impact. Health care clients include CareQuest Institute for Oral Health, Feltin Community Care, Massachusetts Coalition for Serious Illness Care, Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers, The Dimock Center, and The Institute for Health Care Improvement/The Conversation Project.
Active in Greater Boston’s business and nonprofit community, Zamawa currently serves on the boards of the Blue Cross Blue Shield Foundation, Boston Foundation, Boston Chamber of Commerce, and Eastern Bank. She is also a founding member of the Latino Equity Fund at the Boston Foundation and co-founder of Unidos in Power. Zamawa was recently appointed by Governor Maura Healy to the Latino Empowerment Council. Previously, she served as a Trustee of the Boston Public Library for 16 years. Zamawa is the recipient of the Pinnacle Award from the Boston Chamber of Commerce and was inducted into the YWCA Academy of Women Achievers. She was also named by the Boston Business Journal as a Latina on the Move.
Zamawa earned a Master’s in Broadcast Administration from Boston University.
